DWI Presentation for Westfield High School

westfield-high-school

On March 23, 2012, I spoke to members of the Sophomore class at Westfield High School in Westfield, N.J. The presentation was made to four different sections and covered different aspects of operation and intoxication arising out of the New Jersey DWI law. The presentation also involved how alcohol and drugs affect the human body and more specifically, operation of a motor vehicle.

I especially enjoy working with young people, explaining DWI laws and the effects of alcohol. While young drivers must take written tests, driving tests, drive with provisional licenses before being able to drive, purchase and public consumption of alcohol only requires reaching the 21st birthday.

This “The Legal Side of DWI” presentation was given to Westfield High School seniors last year. I hope to present the DWI class at Westfield High School again next year and at other high schools as well.
